An engineer joined our company in March, signing a two-year contract. After working for a few months, he took more salary than he was entitled to, along with loans and advances. Now he’s vanished. We’ve sent reminders and legal notices, but he’s refusing to repay. What should we do?

You can file a criminal complaint with the police for theft and criminal breach of trust. You should also pursue civil action in a court of law to recover the outstanding amount, including salary overpayment, loans, and advances.
