Under the Hindu Succession Act, your sister has a right to inherit a share of her deceased husband’s property. She also has a right to reside in her marital home, and her in-laws are legally obligated to support her and her grandchildren. They cannot force her to leave and have a legal duty to provide for her financial needs.
