Under Indian law, you can file for maintenance under Section 125 of the CrPC. A court can order your husband to pay maintenance for you and your child. However, forcing him to find a job directly is not a legal option. You can explore options like seeking financial support from your joint family, seeking employment yourself, or seeking counseling to resolve your financial issues.
