My grandfather, who had six children including my father, has passed away. My father and grandmother are also no longer with us. The youngest uncle has inherited our grandfather’s property through a registered will. We’ve learned he plans to sell it. How can we challenge the will, stop the sale, and claim a share of the property?

Under Indian law, you can challenge the will on grounds of undue influence, fraud, or mental incapacity of the testator. However, since the will is registered, the burden of proof rests on you. Additionally, if the will is legally valid, the sale can only be stopped if it is proven to be fraudulent or detrimental to your rights as an heir.
