Our housing society in Pune is registered, but the builder hasn’t transferred the ownership to us yet. How can we get them to do this?

As per the Maharashtra Ownership Flats (Regulation of the Construction, Sale, Management and Transfer) Act, 1963, the builder is legally obligated to transfer ownership to the society after completion of the project and fulfilling all necessary legal requirements. You can send a legal notice to the builder demanding transfer of ownership and, if necessary, file a case in the consumer court or civil court.
