My in-laws prepared a Power of Attorney two years ago, giving my husband the first floor of our home and my brother-in-law the second. I wasn’t home that day and don’t have a copy. Can I get another copy? My brother-in-law refuses to share. How and where can I obtain it? My father-in-law owns the house.

You can approach the notary who prepared the Power of Attorney to obtain a copy. If they don’t have it, you can apply for a certified copy from the Sub-Registrar’s office where the document was registered, providing details like the date and parties involved.
