I’m a permanent resident of Bihar and have an OBC certificate from there. Do I need a Delhi, Bihar, or Central OBC certificate for DU admissions? My caste is listed in both the Delhi and Bihar OBC categories, and I belong to the Non-Creamy Layer. I’m a bit confused since I studied in Delhi but am a Bihar resident. Also, is there a difference between Central and State OBC certificates?

You need an OBC certificate issued by the competent authority in Delhi, as Delhi University considers the state of residence for OBC reservation. A Central OBC certificate is for central government jobs and won’t be accepted for DU admissions. The Bihar certificate won’t be valid for Delhi University.
