Since you’re using your new name professionally and have a PAN card with both names, you can continue using your new name for most official purposes. However, for legal documents like passports, it’s recommended to formally change your name for consistency and avoid potential complications in the future. You can choose the name you prefer on your passport, but you will need to provide supporting documents for the change.
