I cleared the UGC NET exam in December 2014, qualifying under the OBC category. However, the UGC office is refusing to issue my NET E certificate, claiming that the Supreme Court has struck down my reservation. My name was on the list of qualified candidates released by CBSE under OBC. Since I took the exam while I was eligible under OBC, why am I facing this retrospective decision? What should I do?
