My marriage happened six months ago, and my wife’s behaviour has been difficult for me and my family. Recently, she spoke rudely to my mother, which led to an argument, and I ended up slapping her. She then went back to her parents’ home. Now, I want a divorce, but my father-in-law is threatening to file a case against me for dowry and assault. What can I do to get a divorce in this situation?
