You can file a divorce petition citing cruelty and desertion, and seek alimony. You can also seek custody of your son and a share of your husband’s property, including his business assets, as per the Hindu Marriage Act and the Indian Succession Act. You should consult a lawyer to pursue your legal options effectively.
