My husband and I have been married for 4 years and haven’t been able to have a child. My in-laws constantly pressure my husband to divorce me, and they are mentally tormenting me because of this. My husband’s father has even made inappropriate advances. I am terrified. I love my husband and we are seeking medical help, but my in-laws have made my life unbearable. They constantly abuse me verbally and physically, and I even attempted suicide. Can I take legal action against them? Is it a crime for them to mentally abuse me because I haven’t conceived? They threaten me saying it’s legal and I can’t do anything. I need help.
