Your friend’s marriage is voidable under Indian law as she was underage. She can file for divorce and seek protection from domestic violence. If her family turns against her, she can approach a women’s shelter or a non-profit organization for support and temporary accommodation. You can help her by accompanying her to a lawyer and supporting her emotionally.
