My divorce case is ongoing, and my wife has expressed a desire to stay together. During the cross-examination, my father-in-law filed a false police complaint accusing me and my father of assault, allegedly using political influence. He even created fake witnesses, despite a normal medical report. I was at the railway station at the time, and my father was at home. I have call records proving I was on the phone with several people during the alleged incident time. We’ve already contacted the Superintendent, Inspector General, and Deputy Inspector General for a fair investigation and to track our location using mobile data. The case is now in court. Can I request the court to trace our location during that time, or are there any other steps I can take?

You can request the court to order location tracking of your phone during the alleged assault time, presenting the call records as evidence. You can also file a counter-complaint for false accusation and perjury, providing evidence of your location and your father’s presence at home.
