Since you are a Hindu, you can file for divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. As you are not seeking custody of your daughter, the divorce process may be quicker. You can file for divorce on grounds of desertion (living apart since 2016) or any other grounds mentioned in the Act. Consider consulting a lawyer to understand the specific procedures and timelines in your jurisdiction.
