In India, divorce can be granted on grounds of irretrievable breakdown of marriage, but only under specific conditions. You can file for divorce on this ground if you can prove that your marriage has been broken down irretrievably for at least one year, and you both agree to the divorce. However, since your husband doesn’t agree, you’ll need to explore other legal grounds for divorce.
