I’m currently paying interim maintenance in a Section 125 case in the lower court. However, I’ve lost my job and need to appeal for a revision of this maintenance under Section 127. My wife’s cross-examination wasn’t properly conducted, so I need to request a recall of witnesses under Section 311. Also, I can’t see my 6-year-old daughter, so I want to appeal for custody under Section 8. Is there a way to file a petition within the main Section 125 case itself to reduce my financial burden, ideally during my working hours? I’m not familiar with court proceedings, so thank you for your help with the relevant sections and guidelines. I wouldn’t have been able to ask this question without your assistance.

You can file a combined petition under Section 127 (revision of maintenance), Section 311 (recall of witnesses), and Section 8 (custody) within the existing Section 125 case. This approach avoids separate filings and reduces your burden. You can submit the petition during court working hours, but it’s advisable to seek legal counsel to ensure proper drafting and adherence to court procedures.
