I’m a Hindu and got married through an arranged match two and a half years ago. However, things haven’t been easy. My wife has been subjecting me to mental and physical abuse since the beginning. I filed for divorce in family court and was granted an order in my favour in February. I’m now living separately, but my wife has forcibly entered my parents’ house and refuses to leave. My parents have contacted the police, but they are unsure about the legal process. The house belongs to my father. My wife has challenged the family court order in the High Court and also filed a false case against me and my family. Could you advise on how to legally remove her from my parents’ house?

Since the Family Court granted you a divorce order, your wife has no legal right to stay in your parents’ house. The police can legally remove her based on the order and the fact that the house belongs to your father. Additionally, you should inform the police about the false case filed against you and your family, and seek legal counsel to address this issue.
