Under Indian law, a marriage below the legal age of 18 is voidable. Since your marriage was not registered, you can challenge its validity and pursue a legal separation. You should consult a lawyer to understand your legal options and protect your rights. Your mother’s threats are unlawful and cannot be used to coerce you into staying in an unwanted marriage.
