Our registered trust runs a charitable, non-profit organization. Unfortunately, some individuals with self-serving motives have joined and now seek control of the trust and its assets. What legal steps can we take to protect the trust? Also, how much old Indian currency can we deposit with our trust?
Best Answer
To protect your trust, you can file a suit for injunction against the individuals seeking control, and initiate proceedings to remove them from the trust. You can also seek a court order to appoint new trustees or administrators. Regarding old Indian currency, you cannot deposit any old currency with your trust as it is no longer legal tender.
