My ex-boyfriend and his current wife are accusing me of being involved in a private video that was secretly recorded at a hotel. The hotel manager claims I asked for it and even bribed him, but he only has a verbal statement. There’s no written or electronic evidence of any such interaction. Since he’s lying, is there a chance I could be accused or face legal action? My ex is also blaming me now, which makes things worse.

In India, verbal statements without supporting evidence are not considered strong proof. While your ex and his wife may make accusations, without concrete evidence, it’s unlikely you’ll face legal action.
