You should immediately seek legal counsel to challenge the false FIR. A lawyer can help you file a counter-complaint against your girlfriend’s family and the police officer involved, and present evidence to demonstrate the truth. You may also consider approaching the higher authorities, such as the Superintendent of Police, to seek redress.
