I was teaching at a school when another teacher, who belongs to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, started acting aggressively towards me. She bit me several times and then filed a police complaint against me. Initially, I didn’t go to the police because it seemed like a minor incident. However, I later learned about her complaint and filed my own statement to defend myself. Now, I’ve received a summons from the court. What should I do?

You must appear in court as per the summons and present your statement and evidence. You should consult with a lawyer to prepare your defense and understand the potential implications of the case. The court will consider both your and the other teacher’s statements and evidence to determine the facts of the case and decide accordingly.
