Anticipatory bail is not specifically provided under the SC/ST Act. However, a person can apply for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the CrPC, which applies to all offenses, including those under the SC/ST Act. They do not need to wait for an FIR to be registered to apply for anticipatory bail.
