What happens to a company’s registrations, like VAT, Service Tax, IEC, and PAN, when it transitions from a private limited company to an LLP in India?

The registrations for VAT, Service Tax, IEC, and PAN are not automatically transferred when a private limited company transforms into an LLP. The LLP needs to apply for fresh registrations under its own distinct legal entity. Existing registrations remain valid for the private limited company until they are legally transferred to the LLP.
