If a company in India files a genuine criminal complaint against another company, will there be any repercussions for the complainant company or its directors?

Under Indian law, a company filing a genuine criminal complaint against another company generally faces no repercussions. However, if the complaint is found to be false or malicious, the complainant company and its directors may face legal action for defamation, abuse of process, or other relevant offenses.
