Hi,
Could you please tell me what the maximum amount is that a former employer can pay as a final settlement? Also, if my contract says I should get an incentive or bonus, but my ex-employer isn’t paying it, what can I do?

Indian law does not prescribe a maximum amount for final settlement. The amount is negotiated between the employer and employee. If your contract specifies an incentive or bonus, you can pursue legal action to claim it. This may involve filing a claim with the labor court or seeking arbitration under the contract’s terms.
