Last year, I enrolled in a 4-day Information Technology training and certification course at a Gurgaon institute, paying ₹35,000. The fee covered training, materials, and the certification exam. However, the training abruptly ended after only two days due to the trainer’s resignation. The promised course materials and certification exam never materialized.
The institute assured us a rescheduled training once a new trainer was available. Despite repeated calls, their response remained the same – insufficient student numbers for a new batch. Six months later, realizing I was being misled, I contacted the institute through email. After lengthy discussions, they offered a different course, but with an additional fee.
I’m seeking guidance to recover my tuition fees.

Based on the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to seek a refund as the institute failed to deliver the promised services. You can file a complaint with the Consumer Forum or initiate legal proceedings in a civil court to recover your tuition fees and seek compensation for the inconvenience caused.
