I secured a seat in a university through the State Law Common Entrance Test (SLCET). However, I recently discovered that the university is not recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI). This came to light after completing three-quarters of my course. The government has also ordered a halt to admissions in unrecognized colleges. But the university took admissions without any prior warning. Now, I am stuck and can’t afford to waste another year. How can I file a complaint against this? Who should I report this to? I eagerly await your guidance.

You can file a complaint with the Bar Council of India (BCI) against the university for admitting students despite lacking recognition. You can also approach the relevant state government authority responsible for higher education, as the government has already ordered a halt to admissions in such colleges.
