I filed a case against a photostat machine dealer and company. The case is in court, and I had the first hearing. Now, an engineer from the company wants to check and repair my machine. Should I let them do it, or should I tell them to get permission from the court first? What’s the right way to handle this situation?

In India, tampering with evidence, especially in a pending case, is discouraged. You should inform the court of the engineer’s request and seek their permission before allowing any repairs. This ensures the evidence remains unaltered and prevents potential complications during the case.
