I bought a bottle of Royal Stag whisky from a local shop. Sadly, I found a dead insect inside when I opened it. What legal options do I have in this situation?

You have grounds to file a complaint with the consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. You can claim compensation for the defective product, including the cost of the whisky, and any medical expenses if you consumed any of it. You can also approach the shop owner directly for a refund or replacement.
