Under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, if a builder fails to start construction within the stipulated time, you can seek a refund of the amount paid, along with interest, or pursue legal action for compensation for the delay. You should consult a lawyer to understand your specific rights and options in this case.
