I booked a flat in Greater Noida (West) through Investors Clinic and they issued me a credit note of Rs. 65,000/- which was supposed to be paid after I paid 60% of the flat cost to the builder. I’ve already paid 65% to the builder, but Investors Clinic is refusing to pay me the credit note amount. They claim the builder hasn’t paid their brokerage. What should I do?

You have a valid claim against Investors Clinic as the credit note was issued to you based on a specific condition which you fulfilled. You can issue a legal notice demanding payment. If they fail to respond, you can file a civil suit in a consumer forum or a civil court for recovery of the amount.
