For over 5 years, I’ve been trying to get a BSNL connection in Thirumullaivoyal, Thendral Nagar West. Despite having schools and a church nearby with connections, I’m told it’s not feasible. I need internet for my career and my children’s education, but I can’t move. No other providers work in the area. Is there any legal recourse? I’ve already filed complaints and received a letter from the General Manager stating it’s not feasible. What can I do?

You can approach the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) with your grievance. TRAI has the power to intervene and direct BSNL to provide service in your area, especially if other providers are also unable to offer service. You can also consider approaching the consumer forum if you believe BSNL has violated any consumer rights.
