What steps can I take to file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court against corruption within a government organization in India? We’ve already reported this matter to the top officials (IAS and RAS) in the organization, but nothing has changed despite providing documented and audio evidence for over a year. Our complaints are repeatedly dismissed without proper investigation. As taxpayers, we believe this corruption is financially hurting our government and ultimately cheating the public. This issue was even highlighted in a leading state newspaper.

You can file a PIL in the High Court by approaching a lawyer and submitting a petition outlining the corruption, the evidence you have, and the inaction by authorities. The petition should be accompanied by affidavits and relevant documents, including newspaper articles. The Court will then decide whether to admit the petition and initiate proceedings.
