Our street is a dead end, and a private college has built its campus right after it. They’ve already made three entrances, and now they’re trying to use our street as a fourth. This wasn’t shown on any plans, and they don’t have a postal address for this route. This has led to college buses, cars, bikes, and autos speeding through our street, creating a lot of chaos. Students, their friends, and strangers are constantly gathering near our homes, causing disturbance. It’s become impossible to leave our homes peacefully. We complained to the CM cell two years ago and they closed the entrance, but now they’ve reopened it. Should we consider filing a legal petition to stop them?

Yes, you can consider filing a legal petition under the Indian Easements Act, 1882, and the Municipal Corporation Act, seeking an injunction to stop the college from using your street as an entrance. You can also argue that their actions are causing a public nuisance and violate your right to a peaceful and undisturbed environment.
