My brother and I registered a property deed in Sonarpur, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal back in 1994. You should register a caveat against the property in the concerned Sub-Registrar’s office in Sonarpur. A caveat prevents any transaction on the property without your knowledge and consent. You should also consult with a lawyer to explore other options to further secure your interest in the property.
