I sold my 4-acre farm in December 2014 with a GPA agreement. However, I’m still owed 80,000 rupees. The buyer now has all the necessary documents in his name, including the land records and mutation copy. He refuses to pay the remaining amount. Can I take legal action against him?
Best Answer
Yes, you can take legal action against the buyer. Since the GPA agreement was for the sale of your farm and you haven’t received the full payment, you have a legal claim for the outstanding amount. You can file a civil suit in a court of competent jurisdiction seeking recovery of the outstanding amount along with interest and costs.
