I secured admission to a private medical college in Karnataka on October 7th, 2016, after the Supreme Court extended the deadline. I was admitted under the All India quota in Maharashtra, with the condition that I submit original documents by October 10th, 2016. However, the college is refusing to return my certificates and fees, claiming that their deadline was September 30th, 2016. They are demanding the full course fee in exchange for my documents. What should I do?

The college’s action is illegal. The Supreme Court’s extension of the deadline overrides their previous deadline. You can file a complaint with the Medical Council of India and the Karnataka Private Medical Colleges Regulatory Authority. You can also file a civil lawsuit seeking the return of your documents and fee refund.
