As a regular guy from Haryana, I’m struggling to understand why I’m being asked to pay more for something I haven’t done. With 50% reservation for certain communities and 10% for ex-servicemen, the recent addition of Economically Backward Caste (EBC) reservation has brought the total to 70%. Now, with the proposed increase to 20% for EBC, it’s going to be 80%. Isn’t this EBC reservation already invalidated by the Rajasthan High Court? I’m an IIT graduate, and I believe in merit. Can someone please help us fight for a fair system?

The Rajasthan High Court ruling on EBC reservation is specific to that state and doesn’t invalidate it nationwide. The 10% EWS reservation is currently being challenged in the Supreme Court, and its validity is yet to be determined. Several organizations are advocating for a fair and merit-based system, and you can join them in expressing your concerns and advocating for your rights.
