I was discharged from service on 30 April 2008, after serving for 15 years, 8 months, and 15 days. I was categorized as “medically unfit” and received a “surplus to establishment” designation. However, I’m only receiving 50% of my medical pension. I want to appeal for the full 100% medical pension.

Based on Indian laws, you may be eligible for a full medical pension if your medical unfitness was directly related to your service. To appeal, you’ll need to submit a detailed medical report and supporting documentation proving your condition arose during your employment. Contact the relevant pension authority for specific guidance.
