Under the Ex-servicemen (EWS) Quota, you have the right to appeal the MahaGenCo decision if you believe it was unfair or discriminatory. You can approach the Maharashtra State Administrative Tribunal (MSAT) or the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), depending on the nature of your grievance.

I refused attestation because I wasn’t allowed to continue my studies after training. The command sent a letter to the unit stating no service personnel can study for five years after training. Can I file a case against the IAF demanding my discharge and the right to study, especially since this restriction wasn’t mentioned during recruitment?

After serving 25 years in the MNS, I retired in September 2015. During my service, I faced health challenges. I was diagnosed with borderline diabetes and hypertension shortly after moving to Ambala. While my initial medical board recognized these conditions as aggravated by service and not due to obesity, my release board in Alwar granted me 40% disability. However, the final authority rejected this, citing non-compliance with rules. This decision feels unfair considering my years of dedicated service and the medical evidence.
