My tenant is using my commercial space for something completely different than what we agreed upon, and they’re even subletting it! What can I do to get things back on track?

Under Indian law, you have the right to terminate the lease agreement if your tenant breaches the terms, such as using the space for an unauthorized purpose or subletting without your consent. You can issue a legal notice demanding they cease the unauthorized activities, and if they don’t comply, you can file a lawsuit for eviction and damages.
