Your marriage is legally valid under the Special Marriage Act, but your husband’s bigamy makes it voidable. You can file for divorce and seek maintenance and property division. His first wife can also seek a divorce, as there is no time limit for bigamy cases in India. Consult a lawyer to explore your specific legal options and file the appropriate proceedings.
