Can a Muslim woman in India seek financial support from her husband after separation, and how?

Yes, a Muslim woman in India can seek financial support from her husband after separation. She can file a case for “nafaqa” (maintenance) in a Family Court under the Muslim Personal Law (Shariat) Application Act, 1937, which entitles her to financial support during the separation period.
