Under Indian law, a Muslim woman can file for Khula or Talaq-e-Tafweez if her husband refuses to provide maintenance or grant a divorce. Khula allows her to seek separation by offering a consideration to her husband, while Talaq-e-Tafweez grants her the right to pronounce divorce under specific conditions previously agreed upon in the marriage contract.
