Yes, you can file a case against the bike owner and driver seeking compensation for your friend’s death. You can file a claim under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, as the driver was negligent and violated traffic rules. The driver’s lack of license, uninsured vehicle, and driving under the influence of alcohol are grounds for a strong case.
