Coming home from work on my motorcycle, I was driving slowly at about 35 km/h. Suddenly, a woman crossing the road changed her mind and ran back, directly into my path. She collided with the right side of my handlebar, causing me to fall. Luckily, I wasn’t hurt, and my bike had only minor scratches. Sadly, the woman fell backwards, hitting her head on the road, and passed away. I’ve been charged with a traffic violation.

Based on the information provided, you were likely charged with a traffic violation due to the pedestrian’s death, even though the accident was primarily caused by the woman. Indian law holds drivers responsible for pedestrian safety, even in situations where the pedestrian is at fault. The specific violation will depend on the circumstances and the investigation.
