My tenant has been living in my flat for four years on a 10-month lease. He often delays rent payments, and two of his checks have bounced. I don’t want to renew his lease. What should I do?

As the lease is nearing its end, you can choose not to renew it. Inform your tenant in writing at least one month prior to the lease expiry, providing a reason for non-renewal. You can also pursue legal action to recover unpaid rent and bounced check charges.
