You can file a legal complaint with the Consumer Forum or a civil court to recover your security deposit. You can also send a legal notice through a lawyer demanding the return of the deposit within a specified time. If the landlord continues to delay, you can pursue legal action to recover your deposit, including potential penalties and legal fees.
